TALIST (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a simple to-do app focused on privacy. Your tasks and settings are stored on your device. We do not run accounts, we do not serve ads, and we do not track you.
Data We Collect
On-device content: task lists, tasks, types (one-time / today / daily / weekly / monthly), and local settings are saved locally on your device.
Subscriptions: if you purchase a Pro subscription, Apple handles payment and subscriber status via StoreKit. We do not receive your payment details.
Support emails (optional): if you contact us, your message and any details you share (e.g., device model, iOS version) are used to help you and then archived as needed.
Diagnostics (optional): if you attach logs or screenshots, they are used only for troubleshooting.
We do not collect personal data on our servers. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
How We Use Data
To store and display your tasks and lists on your device.
To determine Pro eligibility through Apple’s transaction entitlements.
To respond to your support requests.
Subscriptions & Billing
Pro unlocks additional features (e.g., multiple lists). Purchases are processed by Apple. Subscription status is validated using StoreKit entitlements on your device. You can manage or cancel at Apple Subscriptions. We do not store payment information.
Widgets & Permissions
Widgets: if you add a Home Screen widget, it reads your tasks from the app’s local storage via an App Group. Data remains on your device.
Notifications (if enabled): reminders you create are scheduled locally on the device. Notification permission can be changed anytime in iOS Settings.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored locally (and in the shared App Group for widgets). Removing the app may delete this data.
We take reasonable measures to protect local data, but no device is perfectly secure. Use a passcode/biometrics on your device for additional protection.
We do not transfer your task data to our servers.
Your Rights
Access & Export: your tasks are available in the app; you may export by copying or using any tools we provide in future updates.
Edit & Delete: edit or delete tasks in the app. You can also delete the app to remove local data.
Privacy requests: since we don’t maintain cloud accounts, most requests can be fulfilled directly on your device. For questions, contact us.
If you are in a region with specific rights (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), contact us and we’ll help address your request based on how the app processes your data (primarily on-device).
Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided information to us via support email, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
